Grayson Community Center looks forward to being your choice. Our flexible venue can be your expanded office or the backdrop to life’s greatest moments. Be our guests on the rooftop deck, hold a meeting in one of our large classrooms, facilitate an exam in the computer lab, celebrate a birthday in the media room, have your wedding reception in our banquet room, or reserve the entire Center for a multi-day conference. It all happens here!

Jeron X. Grayson Community Center (JXGCC)

After the senseless and tragic death of Jeron X. Grayson, the Executive Director’s son, through gun violence, The Center that CARES purchased the former Ozanam Community Center in the Hill District, and will reopen this 14,000 square foot building with an emphasis on middle and high school students and families to continue to foster positive influence for generations to come.

More than a memorial, the Community Center will embody the passion, energy, and hopefulness that characterized Jeron. By focusing on providing the supports that empower young people to lead exemplary lives and make a meaningful difference in their community, the Community Center will be a living legacy to the power of hope, preparation, and self-direction to overcome despair, aimlessness and violence.
